DIY Sushi Rolls

When it comes to sushi there are a lot of different ways to go about making this stuff...

...I think that this is a lost art for a lot of reasons but in today's article I'm going to be going into some different things that you can do to really get the most out of your sushi experience and will also go into a few different reasons this is really a simple dish to make as well.

In this day and age it's all about going organic so make sure that your ingredients are fresh otherwise as time continues you're going to have some sushi rolls that just aren't "up to par". In this day and age it's all about going out and getting things FRESH. If it's fresh then you're not going to be getting nearly the amount of quality that you could be getting otherwise.

I think this is something that a lot of people would take heart and find joy in but this is something that is a little difficult from what I hear. I think that if you're going through and doing something like this then you're really going to want to make sure that you're doing it by the book so in today's article I'll be going through some different steps to take.

Once again I've always been a huge fan of sushi and after I learned this recipe I was delighted to see just how easy this stuff was to make. In today's article I'll be getting into some different reasons this is easily one of the simplest dishes you could make and I'll also go into some cool and tasty ingredients that you can add to this as well.

DIY Sushi Rolls

Step 1.  Steam the Rice
The first thing that you're going to want to do is go out and steam your rice. This is going to be the first place to start when it comes to these things and is really not that hard to do. I think that if you're going out and making your own sushi then this is going to be the first place to start and is going to really offer you some great options for making something that is to DIE for in your home.

Step 2. Prepare the Fillings

The next thing that you're going to want to do is go out and prepare your fillings. Your fillings are going to be the next place to start and are going to make up the "bulk" of your sushi roll. This is what's going to flavor your roll and is going to give you some great options for flavors and ingredients if you're so inclined.
Some great options that you can include in this are salmon, cucumbers, beef, poultry, and all other sorts of ingredients. This is once again going to be up to you but there's really no limit to the length of things that you can do.

Step 3. Form the Maki

Now that you've gone out and made your fillings you're going to want to move on to form the maki. This is where everything start's coming together and is where you actually start seeing your sushi rolls come together. I think that this is easily the most fun step out of all of them and is really not that hard to do once you've got everything prepared...

Step 4. Add the Wasabi and Filling
The next thing that you're going to want to do is add your wasabi and then your filling. This is going to fill out your sushi and is going to give your roll it's spice. This is just one more step in the overall sushi process and is something that I really think you'll enjoy doing.

Step 5. Roll the Maki

The last step involved is to roll the maki...This is where you go through and really put everything together. I think that over time this is one of the more important things that you could do with your time so it's really important to make sure that you nail this part. If you've got anything that you're not fully understanding then please feel free to leave anything below and I'd be more than happy to take a look.

Conclusion

In conclusion this is something that everyone should know how to do. I think that in this day and age if you're not going through and really making this a priority in your life then you're just not going to have the type of sushi experiences that you've been looking for.

This is something that everyone should be doing and for the price you really can't beat the value and once again if you've got anything that you're not fully understanding then please feel free to leave anything below...also be sure to check back next week for our ongoing Fuji Sushi series, until next time!
